A rare "generic" spot that plugs no specific issue, but still features that oh-so-70s background music.

  • Oxnard had the 213 area code back then until 805 came around. I lived in the Palm springs area and was born later in 1980, the TV guides didn't have cable channel listings until the mid 80s. Palm Springs didn't get L.A. area stations over the air, we had 2 local affiliates & one PBS station each out of San Bernardino & Orange county, the TBN religious station from Riverside, a few from El Centro/Yuma & Mexicali (in spanish) & a spanish language TV station (I think KMEX), or over-air on ch. 12. +

  • Love that sci-fi like "music" in the background.

  • This is a rare "generic" spot, promoting no issue in particular; Taylor Grant is the announcer.
