Circuit Bent Darkstar Synth

Not much as far as glitches, the unit crashes and takes a while to boot up. Added two 555 LFOs with various patching directly to the control potentiometers and the joystick. Gives you more analog warble effects. Best feature is a HOLD switch for the Audition Button.

love it ... just bought a darkstar a couple minutes ago nice an cheap on the bay. plan on bending mine as well... will be my first bigger bend (before all just toys) was this a challenge?

@flux302 Well the synth itself is not really bendable. Most of the time it will crash if you try to short some wires. The way this particular Synth has been modified is with some extra circuitry. Mainly 2 x 555 Timer circuits from getlofi.com the 555s act as LFOs and are patched to various knobs and the joystick. Another feature that I added was a Hold switch, its just wired up to the Audition botton, helps to make it into a Drone device.

my darkstar isn't booting up any longer :(

it wants to yet does not complete the action.

i am so bummed, i love my dark... i know i can buy another, yet we've been through so much. does anyone have a clue to what might be wrong w/it? i've tried searcing google etc. w/no info on this issue... halp please...
