  • But Spark is still an awesome show.

  • not a fan..

  • God she is so self righteous.

  • @hyperseauton ... for the struggles our ancestors went through. Western culture today is living off the hard work of those who came before. The wealth of the US, for example, was built up during a time in which people lived and worked in conditions Annie would consider to be horrible. But they didn't have any other way. Developing countries must go through industrialization. They can't skip ahead to where many Western cultures are today.

  • @hyperseauton Also, just thinking about what you said re: compassion. Talking about sweat shops- They pay, on average, much more than the rest of the community earns. They have improved the lives of many people in those communities, yet people like Annie want to shut them down because of her Western cultural ideals. Kids who work there can go back to prostitution or drug running, I guess. But that doesn't sound compassionate to me. It's like people today have no appreciation...

  • @hyperseauton So you're calling her a liar then? She told him she would debate him. I guess she was just trying to look good. That's not a great endorsement of her.

  • @controlclerk

Dude, Annie does not debate HTWW since he lacks compassion. Can't blame her, HowTheWorldWorks is a capitalist douchebag shithead.

  • Wow. She really believes this stuff, huh?

I look forward to her keeping her word and debating Lee Doren.

  • Just keep doing it Annie! big fan!

  • Annie is a great woman who has common sense when it comes to this vital issue. She is one of unfortunately not many Americans who hasn't succumbed to mass consumerism and the brainwashing advertisements. Thanks to Annie and her Story of Stuff series, the world is getting more and more aware of the consequences of a world that is greedy, selfish and lives for itself, and itself only, without giving any thought to the future of heir children and grandchildren. Thank you so much Annie!!!
