In 1999, North Carolina was devastated by Hurricane Floyd - one of the worst natural disasters in the State's history. It became known as "The Flood of the Century". But one community came together, refusing to give up, and fought to keep rising flood waters out of a rural church. This is their inspiring true story - a message of hope for those caught in the despair of the storms of life.

I saw the damage myself, too. It was like nothing I remembered. I can't remember Hugo, I was too little, and we were inland a ways.
