MUGEN Christmas Special: A Legendary Christmas

It's Christmas time in the world of MUGEN, but even with the holiday cheer in the air, everyone is still fighting!

Instead of taking the time to enjoy the joyous occasion, the residents of the battleground universe prefer to continue running around, knocking each other's block off with not even an afterthought about Christmas. Where's the love?...Not here, that's for sure.


It's a real shame that no one is stopping to celebrate the holiday season...that is, no one except for one person...kind of...


Well, here's my attempt at a Christmas special. Derp.

Working on this proved to be quite a challenge.
Time was kinda scarce, what with Christmas shopping and snow shoveling (20 inches...dear God) getting in the way, and I didn't really have any solid ideas on what to do for the video. I was determined to do a Christmas video for you guys though, so I [winged it and] did what I could before the big day. I cut it REALLY close (9 PM at the time of this writing), but I think I made it. :P

Yeah, I know I should of started this project earlier, but by the time I thought of it, it was already a little late...oh well. That's life for ya.


Anyway, enjoy the special, and since I'm still in the spirit of giving, I'll spill a little info.

As you might of already guessed, this video contains the four MUGEN Legends characters that I've done so far.

"Wait...four? There's only three!"

Well, you've got the first one, my main man Shingo Yabuki. Lilith Aensland was second in line, and Fei Long was number three.

The fourth MUGEN Legends character...is one of the three characters in the King of Fighters' "New Face" Team!

Yashiro, Shermie, and Chris were seemingly random characters that appeared to have come out of nowhere in The King of Fighters '97, just like they did in this video. They ended up being a big part of the Orochi Saga as they were revealed to be gathering sacrifices to resurrect their lord Orochi.
I really liked this team. They're probably my favorite team in the KoF series, tied with the USA Sports Team. Funny enough, there's a bit of a running gag between the two teams...

Expect to see this team take the spotlight in MUGEN Legends #4's tourney-style story (which you can help with! See my channel page for details).
As for which one of the three will be the main character...well, I can't give EVERYTHING away, can I? :P
It's more obvious than you might think though.
