@Msunbird02 we muslims are awake and we are definetely more aware of islam and our religion. I became muslim. Something is wrong with your head, the head of your leaders, governments, etc... not of Muhammad (peace be upon him). You have hatred and anger. All that which you accuse muslims of in fact you are a mirror image of and a double standard hypocrite. I personally find it amusing of christians as an ex christian when they attack islam/quran but do not know their own bible of what it teaches

Wrong again. The word jihad actually means "struggle, strive." The Arabic root of the word is jahada "to strive for." (The Arabic word for war is "harb.") I repeat, NOWHERE in the Qur'an is a "self struggle" mentioned. It's only about violent fighting. Jihad is an Arabic expression for "holy war" that muslims use as an excuse to behave like immature schoolyard bullies.

@Msunbird02 It has a universal meaning The most popular impression is about going into war to hold religion but that's just a narrow scope Preaching can also be said as jihad trying to overcome your anger or trying to not fall in sin can also be said as jihad People should not be seeing jihad as fighting only but should look at much better peaceful prospects In arabic jihad mean self-struggle but because the term is used by extremists who 'claim' to b fighting 4 islam its thought 2 only mean war

I used wikipedia only b/c you already had. Look up the definition in any other reliable dictionary. You'll find the same concept. Try Oxford, Websters or Macquarie instead.
