This is a traditional game played in most villages of India. Requires a small wooden stave and a smaller stick. The objective is to send it as far as possible away from the point of start. Great fun and keeps you occupied

more rules then that,if the fielders catch it when you hit it then they can,try to throw it back into the circle(if drawn) or as in the clip above within a stick length of the original spot (you see the boy above measuring) where it was hit from.If the fielder is successful in this toss then he gets a turn as the hitter. Or if your playing teams as the boys above are, the next hitter is up(boy in red).the teams switch after a # of strikes.It looks like these kids have some rules of their own too
