Isiolo insecurity

Leaders from Isiolo and Marsabit counties are up in arms over insecurity in the region. They accuse government of doing nothing as members of the Borana and Somali are being killed in the area. They are threatening to ask members of the two communities to arm themselves if police do not move in fast.

@siasabora it seems boranas & somalis in isiolo have surrendered their arms long time during Kenyata era and since then they have been prsecuted and discriminated. Their livestock have been killed houses been destroyed. They were better of when they had their own arms at least they were respected. If the kenyan govt is not ready to help this ppl then i think they should be allowed to bear arms in order to protect themselves just like they had in the past.

Some Kenyans assume they are the only ones entitled to good life and celebrate at the sufferings of others. No wonder we are unable to make any meaningful political progress. If you think you can coerce others to submission, it never works, there will never be peace in such atmosphere. Isiolo has the right to demand justice & security like any other town in Kenya, & Somalis, Boranas, Kikuyus, Luos, Digos, Maasais etc are all equal Kenyans!
