stupid question alert - Ok so how in teh world do you save your progress in this game? for some reason when i try....no save screen comes up :(

@GrenGoddess I'm using a SNES Emulator to save my progress via savestates, and I think whether or not you get a message with thouse depends on the emulator itself.

Believe it or not, my genesis copy of the game would glitch at the Runaway Mine Car and Harry would run to the cart and swing his whip, but nothing would happen no matter what button I pressed., He just stood there. I had to beat the game by using the level select cheat.
