Roger the Betta Fish

My pet betta fish named Roger...but my sister calls him Lloyd. We need more aquarium decorations for him, but our local pet stores have really bad ones. Obviously, my favorite decorations at the moment are Spongebob's Pineapple, and Squidward's Easter Island Head.

Need more fake plants and maybe a treasure chest or sunken ship. Definitely more fake plants though. If you're going to comment about live plants, they're messy, and require more frequent water changes...something I just don't want to invest my time into.

Anyway, about the live plants they actually dont require more water changes, they require less as they consume some of the waste by the fish, but some plants can be messy though. A really good live plant that isnt messy and looks cool is java moss, it tollerates low light, looks really good and is cheap. Also another one that looks more like a plant is java fern, you can graft it onto wood or rocks, or just bury it in the gravel.

Thanks for the tip! When I was younger, I had a fish bowl with a few guppies and some kind of aquatic plant. The plant really gunked up the bowl. I thought it was the guppies, but the guy at the pet store said that live plants can do that too.

In my experiences, live plants have helped me keep everything cleaner! :) Pet store people make stuff up a lot, it seems. ;)

Bamoo are the best plants no need to deal with all the messyness and change the water regurally

The Spongebob Pineapple house was a gift from my sister. I found Squidward's House on eBay for $4.99.
