@Marcohazard The French SOF tend to use the M16 FOW in lieu of the FAMAS. I believe the G36 is in use as well. French Naval SOF might use some G2s, but I doubt the G1 is in use because of it's very specific ammunition requirements. You're not going to be firing the heavier, more effective 5.56 loadings out of a G1. It's doubtful the G2 would digest them very well. Hence the M16/M4 and G36.

What a shame when FA-MAS doesn't exist in Mw3, the only episode which has FRENCH force (GIGN) as a multiplayer faction......
