@melandmanny You were the one who made the claim that humans were the only animals that behaved cruelly, I refuted your statement. Google "dolphins killing for sport" and you'll get several stories. And I say again, westerners were no more cruel than any other race, they just had better technology and more victims.

@melandmanny That's factually untrue. There are several species that engage in violence and cruelty over resources, as well as some species that do it for no reason at all. Ant colonies will go to war and enslave each other, primates and other mammals routinely kill the young of rivals, and dolphins and birds have been documented killing for sport. It's not PC to say, but westernern society has been more successful than other civilizations, which is why we've engaged in this behavior so often.
