Looks like Bug shield is massively nerfed Hell Wheel.

TsunogaiDanshaku already explained it for me. XD you could say it's reversible for when the Americans adopt Japanese words, such as karaoke, which the Americans pronounce "kerioki" as seen by the Japanese. (I suck at showing phonetics, so I usually consider Japanese the pinnacle of pronounciation...)

Yes, ニトロ is one of the ways to render "nitro." It probably reflects a non-English pronunciation (Neo-Latin, Italian, French).

Sweet, a theme I can actually recognize in this game.
Woodman's theme is Wire Sponge from X2.
Not sure who Crash Man's is, same with Bubble Man.

Precursor of Hell Wheel

MEga man X2 music

Great gameplay man! :)
Do you know where Bubbleman's theme is from?

You'd think that, but "nitro" is one of those words that the Japanese decided to pronounce differently when they adopted it. It normally is pronounced "neetoro" over there. Some other examples are: energy ("enerugee"), myth ("maisu") and fanfare ("fanfareh").

Japanese don't have "tro". It should Naituro.

LOL
5:13 it says "Nitoro" XP
Darkness Bit is really wonky but it serves as Heat Man and Quick Man's weakness and is, to my knowledge, the only weapon that kills the flame throwers (or Changkey Makers) that appear in Wily Stage 3.

But Japanese I's are always pronounced like "ee" in English. The I in Nitro, though, should be spelled out as "ai" in katakana.
Uhh, right? I don't believe there's more than one correct way to pronounce nitro.
