The story of B and Elephants began in India some years ago. Nacho and Belén, Spanish musicians fascinated on Indian music, decide to settle in Kerala to study the South Indian music (carnatic music) for almost three years. There they know Bijo, an Indian percussionist who understand the music as them, and arise the magic between them. They move throughout India playing, improvising and learning from another musicians from everywhere. However, the Indian dream reaches its end and all of them come back to Spain with this project into their folder and with a great deal of illusion. The three create this band, which make use of classical Indian instruments such as Saraswaty veena (stringed instrument), tabla, and mridangam with flamenco guitar, darbuka, tambourine, etc. B and Elephants reflect their experience in their first recording (The Turkish House) with tracks from different styles and cultures. This sound diary gets inspiration not only in Indian music but also in jazz, flamenco, Balkan music, rock, etc.
