Here's another forgotten cult classic from the 70's...a very slow paced slasher about a maniac who escapes from an insane asylum days before Christmas to exact revenge on certain citizens of a small town.

(Note: This is not the killer Santa movie from 1984, Silent Night, Deadly Night).

I bought the DVD for real cheap at a record store that no longer exists. I was surprised on how good it was. It has a very involved, realistic plot for a slasher.

@RepIayMediaCatcher Can you not read? The description says 1970s. Silent Night, Deadly Night was released in 1984. So how is it even possible this ripped off Silent Night, Deadly Night. People are just too stupid sometimes.

i love the way the music during the opening credits plays "silent night' in the minor key. absolutely brillint and so beautiful, too.

this is the original .. the main actress was eary 20's in the 1970's. plus clothing and hairstyles are in keeping with the 1970's. being this is low budget movie props would not have had funds to duplicate early 1970's clothing for a 1980's movie
