Im onto week 2 of champix and so far it is briliant, feel great and having no problems staying away from cigarets dont even think of them and only side effects is getting tired alot wich I believe would be becouse my body no longer has the stimulant nicotine in it all the time and hencefourth will have to adjust and also im getting crazt dreams withought fail every night haha... I must say these side effects are well worth it for what im getting.
This is Day 11 for me on Champix. Stopped smoking on day 8. I am reeaaaly struggling tho and can't say that Champix is helping at all...just a constant craving.I'll persevere as I can afford the 2 pack a day habit!!
Now on day 8.I've not stopped smoking but it has slowed me down from 15 to 5 max so it must be doing something. The only side affects i've had are nausea and 1 night of sickness the rest has been happy days and most of all money in my piggy bank for my new car.
You're a fool if you don't at least try. I have been taking it for 5 weeks, and I have had NO side effects whatsoever. None. I honestly think a large amount of the 'depression' that some people report is more of a natural 'down' feeling from letting something go that's been a part of your life for years - cigarettes. Trust me, it's worth the risk. Take it with food, on time, and you will thank yourself later. Should have done this 3 years ago! Do it.

October 26 2008 was my first day on champix without a cigarette. I have not had one since.
still not sleeping very well as a side effect but i went from a 1/2 -3/4 pack a day smoker to zero.
That was the hardest thing I ever did.
I went from not being able to run to the end of my block to fininshing respectably in a 10k race. I'm a runner now with 200K under my belt.
Champix worked for me.
Oh......all that coughing you do every morning. It goes away completly!
It's worth it
Just quit!!
