I want to know who are the idiots above with their weird comments about a guy who was a cruiserweight, didn't quit like Douglas, Tyson and many other boxers who fought Holyfield and was on his feet wanting to continue at the end. He lasted longer than Douglas who was ko'd in 3 and did not quit like Tyson. They are just the FACTS.

I recommend 'The Last Great Fight' by Joe Layden. It's a great, insightful book about Tyson, Douglas, their fight and the aftermath.

BTW Douglas was a more capable fighter than I thought him to be. He was blessed with great natural gifts but very rarely showed the desire to make the most of them, except for one legendary occasion.

@BruceinFalkirk your right there is not,,, but i think an in shape tyson, thats body and mind,, would of blown the lot of them away,,, but he messed up , he knows it,, i have spoken to him a number of times when he has visited the uk,, he told me he could not handle the pressure of being champ, he had no one to turn to after jacobs died, king messed with his head... i truly believe him...
