Dream Theater live - A Rite of Passage - Albany, 2009

Entire song minus some of the intro of Dream Theatre's A Rite of Passage played live in Albany NY on 8/4/09 during the Progressive Nation Tour. You can't really see it very clearly in the video, but Jordan Rudess plays the really weird sounding solo at about 6:00 with an iPhone app.


For those wondering, set was: A Nightmare To Remember, Rite of Passage, Hollow Years, Erotomania, Voices, Prophets of War, The Count of Tuscany, and Metropolis pt 1 as the encore with crazy dueling solos.

I don't really remember if it was erotomania or dance of eternity because it was during that part that 4 security guards got the shit beat out of them by some huge guy, and then after about 3 minutes of fighting, they managed to get him out all because he was taking a picture, so I was distracted and don't quite remember the song. And I think they switch that song and prophets of war out with different songs for different venues.
