  • Screw whoever didnt let this album get released till 2004

  • @nmzanie This is amazing...I have loved Susan Tedeshi's cut of this, but I had NO idea who wrote it. My my....what a sweet lovely sound !

  • New Train is in my top 3 favorite albums of all time. So fucking great.

  • this takes me back to living in the low income projects of north Denver.

"Gonna move away from here" too bad my homies never made it out....

  • This song makes me cry for many reasons. Glad James agreed this take was a keeper!

  • Defenitely one of my favorite songs from Paul Pena!!!!

  • This is so great. I discovered Mr. Pena via Derek Trucks (who covers this track). Very cool indeed. Thanks for posting. Great stuff.

  • How come people got more popularity than him covering his songs?

I agree in certain cases like Randy Newman's song covers by other groups and singers was better than his original song written.

But Paul Pena's songs performed by him first were better than Bruce Springsteen and Steve Miller covering them.

  • My father was the recording engineer for this amazing song. i always play this song today in his memory. Matin J Feldman. We Love Ya.

  • Most great artists never reach the airwaves. The web is a blessing as far as finding musical talent because it still exists largely outside the confines of corporate control, which waters down the talent it controls into trends and lowest common denominator pop culture.
