Shelby GT500 Runs 9's with The Stock Engine In The Heat!

We recently built this 2008 Shelby GT500 for a Customer and took it to the track to make some passes with the new Evolution TH400 Transmission, Fabricated/Narrowed Ford 9" Rear with Aluminum Center and 4.10 Gears. The car had the Factory Stock Engine, 2.8H Kenne Bell Evolution "Competition" Twin Screw Supercharger Kit - 22.5lbs Of Boost, American Racing Longtube Headers with 3" Off Road X-Pipe and 3" Magnaflow Catback Exhaust. This car was at full weight, 3,960lbs without Driver. After a few shakedown passes it ran a 9.98 @ 139MPH, which is really good considering it was 97 Degrees out with 70% Humidity. Actually it is an auto. Read the description Evolution TH400 transmission.

That is a GM made Turbo-400 automatic transmission. Look it up.
