  • I saw you had the BLN app in one of your videos, so I was wondering, if I were to flash a BLN kernel, over this Overclocked 1.6Ghz kernel of yours on my SGS2 i777, I will go back to run at the stock 1.2Ghz?

Or is there a BLN kernel you know of, that runs on 1.6Ghz, on the SGS2 i777 AT&T?

Please let me know and maybe email me the link, if posssible

Much appreciated, my frieend ( I used your instructions to root my device, and it worked like a charm...ur a lifesaver) :)

  • @99djmisi You might be better off trying to find a kernel with support for both, I've stopped developing kernels, just too much headache and I don't have time for it.

  • How come this phone overheats at 1.6GHz i mean i had an original Motorola droid and i used it at 1.3Ghz from stock 550MHz and it worked amazing and it was stable and didnt overheat unless i used it for 30+ minutes now i have to use this at 1.4Ghz and gets warm not hot.

  • @fernandobo009 use "ondemand" if you use "performance" it will overheat.

  • Its all right but on 1.6 it over heats really fast and makes the phone unusable for about 10 minutes... It's still really good though

  • @docownz try a bit less like 1.5 or 1.4Ghz.

  • hey man can you pleas put a tutorial on how to overclock it pleas i am kinda new to this stuff man i appreciated ..

  • does this save battery?

  • what should i overclock mine too?

  • @docownz If you have it in Performance, It'll drain your battery faster. Use the Ondemand Governor.

  • Big thanks to you and people like yourself for putting in the time to do these mods for us all :)

  • i'm new to all this rooting stuff... i rooted using your other video, using your stock kernel. so, if i'm understanding this whole process correctly.. if i want a different ROM / kernel, i'd have to put my phone in download mode, and basically do the same thing i did when rooting with your stock kernel (using odin), but just replace the file with the ROM / kernel i want? thanks in advance ;) great info and videos btw. i've learned so much bc of you :D
