Beautiful solo from the last part of "Octavarium", V - Razor's Edge.

This is the first time I upload a video of myself playing, so it's kind of a test.
I hope to make better videos in the near future.

I mixed the original song in order to remove all I could from the original guitar solo. Yet, I didn't manage to remove it all, so you may still listen to Petrucci at some specific parts of the video.
Guitar recorded with a Pedrone SLO 3 Mod (great amp!) with Eminence GB128 and a SM57 on axis.

@robsonaraujo31 Uso uma cópia do Tube Screamer, da MRoxy... Mas praticamente qualquer pedal de drive funciona. Tente procurar um Tube Screamer ou um BB Preamp, ou cópias similares desses pedais feitas por algum handmaker (Aconselho dar uma olhada nos pedais da Stardust, MRoxy e EFX)...

Hey, thanks a lot! I really like this guitar's tone (check out my other videos, better audio). I switched the original pickups for a Seymour Duncan JB (Bridge) and a Sergio Rosar Heartbreaker (Neck - that's equivalent to a Seymour Duncan '59), great combination. Besides that, but not relative to the tone, I switched the original bridge to a roller bridge, because I think it's way more confortable, and I also intend to change the machine heads to get a better stability.

Muito obrigado por assistir, Edelcio! Tentarei sempre estar divulgando boa música (do meu ponto de vista ao menos). Essas bandas não são lixo total, sempre tem algo de bom a oferecer, a real crítica é que tem muito músico brasileiro sensacional que passa despercebido, enquanto caras bem menores são quem recebe a maior fama.
