A slideshow and video compilation of my car, going through the engine swap, motor buildup, suspension and brake upgrades, and then racing on ice dirt, track and street. The mustang getting owned is a cammed, supercharged 5.0L with headers intake and exhaust. It runs 9lbs boost from a Vortech Centrifugal supercharger. Tires on the 'stang were Mickey T drag radials. Didn't help ;)

  • hows the car doing now?

  • @jtaylornate No idea; I got rid of it some 5 + years ago.

  • on the snow are you on summer tire ?? (the first scene on snow)

  • @tibu266 No, never. I always drove on Blizzaks in the snow, using the stock RS rims powdercoated in grey.

  • what transmission are you using? how to did work with the differential and all that good stuff?

  • @Vertigo311922 Stock RS tranny and driveline with a Spec 3 clutch. It broke 4 times.

  • Truly impressive

  • I've got a 99 RS. Can't wait to do an engine swap. Of course, I can't do it myself. Wonder how much the shops will do it for (labor and engine and parts).

  • nice car....good job....

  • man i remeber watching the buildup of this car on your site. your a genius btw.

love the car but the vid needs no music, just the music of that car hahaha. sucks you dont have it anymore

  • great stuff. well done

  • @lakersfan221 Sadly, no. I drove the crap out of it, and I got 130 thousand miles out of the chassis, but in that process I blew 4 engines, a turbo, 4 transmissions, ate 2 wheel bearings, 2 power steering pumps and a couple other miscellaneous things.

  • was this car reliable?

  • @ThePrudence23 WRX Engines are open deck blocks and thus very weak; they start to become unreliable around 300AWHP. The STI block is semi closed and will handle over 400WHP before it starts to show weaknesses.
