I don't care what people say; Sega's version of this game has WAY better sounding music. Compare stage 2 between systems. Genesis is just way more funky.

@andezbox I got the Sega Genesis version off ebay. THANK YOU ebay! I mean the game in general in terms of fun and hilarity. If you were a kid hanging out with me, my brothers, and our childhood friend, it would have been so fun! xD If I ever get the technology to do videos from my Sega, I'll show you guys the glitch I'm talking about. LOL.

@JCAznDude I havent played it yet but I dont think its a good cross over ?I mean the toads are funny , while double dragon is punch kick punch, that backwards elbow thigy, or was that a double fist, and a jump kick/guns / knives and giant movless beef men with no necks and zombie eyes, ok i guess they were funny, oh and of course, sticks of dynamite.

@TheSoftMachineisaMan The NES "battletoads"to me will always be the best.The graphics arnt over done, the music sounds as true as 8bit gaming sounds , like a videogame not like a tv cartoon crossover.Its like trying to compare any other double dragon game with the original Arcade Version.You cant compare it as it is how it is.

I have this game for the SNES, but I always grew up with the Genesis version, and I always loved that version better! It was so much funnier and funner to play! xD Anyone know the stick weapon glitches? Those were the funniest to do!

It is amazing, even in 2011, we are still fighting about which system was better in terms of games and hardware: SNES or Genesis. Personally, I thought Battle Toads and Double Dragon was better on Genesis, especially when it came to the music. Of course, that is coming from someone who was a Genesis kid :)

Um why does this game only use 1 button (not including arrows and start) not only that you have to time when you hit the button or it does nothing I have played better commodore 64 controls (most games controls where bad for the c64)
