I love this song!
But I feel that the drums were a bit too loud...

One of the greatest concerts ever and I missed it - still got the DVD :)

a short, nerdy, old, white, British, heroic man.

Trevor is a great bass player!

Good old days, before MTV went to shit.

Shorter, longer. Yeah, I screwed up. Whatever.

I meant 11 seconds SHORTER than the original studio recording. The studio recording is definitely 11 seconds shorter, which is perceptible for sure.

It is up tempo, and weighs in about 11 seconds longer than the original. I thought it was even better than the original, and that the time and effort to get it right is apparent. Trevor Horn is not going to just show up and vomit something up. He got Geoff Downes in there and the original backup singers and everything. I bet the time difference can be chalked up to live versus studio, the former in which you are relaxed and have time, the latter being fueled by adrenaline. Ugh? I say Yes!

ugh...it sounds to (rocked up) to me...i know some in in the last 10 or 15 years remade this song and you can almost hear that in the background...its also up tempo from the orginal version..i just dont understand if your going to get up on stage celebrate something that changed the world of music...why not put more time and effort to it sounding right?
