This is a clip show that I put together for a group presentation we did at uni for Social and Professional Contexts, in the MTeach (Primary) at The University of Melbourne. The theme was family change and its impacts, and the clip was designed to introduce some issues that may affect children today, as well as thinking about the different families, family structures and relationships that exist for the children that come in to our classrooms.

The majority of the images come from various artists from http://www.deviantart.com - all the work on there is truly inspirational :0)

Film clips include:
- The Simpsons
- Futurama
- Hey Arnold
- Skins
- The Lord of the Rings
- When A Woman Loves A Man
- Take That: For The Record

The song is "Pieces of Heaven" by Mark Owen, off his "In Your Own Time" album (yes, it is available on iTunes Australia)

Thanks to Tash and Sarah for making it a super presentation!!!

  • Part 2/2

In the above Aussie music video they do the same thing as you do though I think it does not have as emotive pics as yours does, your pics fit much better to the song but each of their pics do link in with each other a little better. I think yours are more random in nature.

Still well done I think it's a fine effort.

  • Part 1/2

Well personally I think the pics though very random do relate the the little part of the song they appear in. It's one of the better abstract music videos I've seen.

It's in the same style as another music video I remember of hand "Affirmation by Savage Garden". The Australian music video for that song. The US one is the concertish music video.

  • Beautifully done video and beautiful song! You've inspired me to find that song, lol. Wonderful job. :D
