How to play "1922" by Charlie Parr

This is a VERY VERY VERY rough and VERY SHORT guide to demonstrate how *I* go about playing Charlies' great tune "1922". He may very well do it completely differently! LOL!

PLEASE NOTE:this is only how I learnt to do it, so I make no claim as to it's validity, but going by the videos of Mr Parr playing it, it's a pretty good starting point.

I only had a nylon in the house, so I had to use it for this clip.

And please just remember to use your ears and judgement and enjoy playing this fun tune!

Hi mate,

Not really doing anything specific or special, just a kind of sloppy alternate picking as well as the hammer on with the left ...LOL! sorry if that sounds lame, but that is about as much as I can say to try to describe it. I just kind of felt my way thru it really.

I should point out that Charlie doesnt play those slides the I play going into the "D" shapes during the second part of the tune's phrase. They shouldn't be there, just an artefact from the off the cuff decision to try to tape something. ..;p
