This song has such an international sound I am amazed it is relatively unknown

outside of Australia, anyhow I have the impression Richard Clapton could have been marketed a lot better.

@SuperQuater there was a some sort of clause in his contract with Festival that limited his chances of making it overseas. Some of the greedy business geeks that ran the music industry back in the 60's are quite responsible for many Aussie 70's acts not making it overseas. Sad, but true.

My memories of this is being in Festival Studios with Richard and the gang coming up with those slide guitar parts. I still play the same old Stratocaster. Ah, yes, the good ol' days.
