It's not the dog's fault. For a pitbull especially, it comes as basic instinct. They don't deserve to be punished, the owner does. He probably trained them for fighting..

i am sorry people have to suffer because of these dogs ,dogs are breed to do certain jobs ,rat terriers were made to kill rats ,wurking dogs were bred to protect and herd animals.does anyone know what pitts were trained to do ? pitts were bred to be aggressive and kill that can not be breed out of them

@samcrofan1 u KNO its the owners fault how THEY TRAIN their pitbulls. I have a pit and hes the most playful,gentle, and cutest pit ive ever seen. PEOPLE abuse them for FIGHTING.i SHUD let a pit loose in ur house n make him kill u. bitch.just cus they are loose does NOT mean they r dangerous. wtf is wrong with u? they are the most affectionate. its just how the owner TRAINED THEM.

That is a bunch of crap! These dogs are vicious by nature. Just because you can find a few instances where training has suppressed these deadly tendencies, that does not mean they are docile. They are not. It is in them to kill. They should be banned everywhere. I will call the owner about other dogs loose in my neighborhood, but if I see a pit bull loose, that dog is DEAD....no exceptions!!
