1911 Buick Unrestored Runs 2009 Utah Concours pt1

This is an unrestored original condition 1911 Buick shown at the 2009 Utah concours d'Elegance at Thanksgiving Point in Utah. The Buick is recieving an award for Best Original car. The car was purchased in Northern California about 30 minutes before a junk man was going to cut it up for scrap. Watch it drive up to get the award. An awesome piece of history that we hope stays in the unrestored conditon. Part 1 of 2.

Don't put so much confidence in scrap and junkmen. Many of them do not care one iota. If you heard this Buick's owners story you would be assured the guy had no intention of keeping this car. History is scrapped and junked everydayI AM in the business don't forget. It is fantasy to think things like this aren't scrapped.

Actually I dont think any junkman would cut this up for scrap... He'd probably park it in a shack at his junkyard, planning a restoration... Junkmen are human too!
