  • @12VDISLMT I suppose that makes sense. I would've thought that for smaller vehicles, a smaller diesel engine would've been offered as an option. Either a 3 litre Cummins (if such an engine were made available) or a diesel engine produced by someone else.

  • @Seattlecarnut well they way i see it "commercial" engine. you seem em in bread trucks and stuff like that. have seen alot of mods were people have put em in jeeps/smaller trucks and im sure its a contract thing that dodge only was it for the 6bts/ISB engines.

  • @12VDISLMT So, why not offer the 4BT in the Durango and Dakota models?

  • @Seattlecarnut cummins is workin on buildin a v6 to put in durangos/dakotas havent found any confirmation on that & they make a 4 cylinder engine its called the 4bt u find them in ups trucks

  • My only question is why Cummins isn't available for cars or light trucks?

  • lol a ricer drove by at 1:38 hahaha. he's mad everyone's admiring true power and beauty:)

  • I just like how Chevy Calls there diesel engines Duramax when really there Isuzu's, and ford calls there International designed engines Powerstroke. While Dodge doesnt have to rename because Cummins has such a good reputation it will sell the truck for them. Truck for truck there all even but the engine no competition

  • I think it's time for you to grow and lose the sheep and buy a bowtie, a gentleman's truck

  • @Bankzd66 This is where I see you in a couple of years... You're broken down by the side of the road trying to start your duracrap and then a Cummins goes by and you think, "Shit..."

  • @lgnlln2 Duramax is a good engine, but not even close to a Cummins, there's a reason they put them in Petes. Besides the Chevy only comes with an automatic, do you know how much power is lost in a torque converter, believe me even the Allison wastes a LOT of torque.
