  • @Tecunuman007 Excellent. Love frijoles negros. We also lived on those as toppings (along with avocado) on top of local tortillas. Thanks for bringing back good memories.

  • @umarket Took your advice. Thanks for the tips Very Helpful. Still won't take my chances. even though the street food, (as they call it.) Looks and smells good. Fried Bananas with black beans were my favorites.

  • @Tecunuman007 We ate chiles rellenos by the dozens on the street, but never got sick. If you have a minute, Google "How to travel without hugging the bowl" The first entry is one of our articles (on Uncornered Market). Not foolproof tips, but they generally work for us.
