I co-wrote, co-produced, and even helped cast this video for Comcast, for a new videophone product they were trialling and which I was product managing. Videophones have been around since the 60's. Comcast was giving it another go in 2004. Well, I guess dedicated hardware video phones are now permanently dead in any case, since we have small multi-function devices like iPads with video cameras that do videoconferencing just fine. But the user experience lives on!
Anecdote: the actor showed up with some wardrobe shirts, but they were all button-down collar. Didn't work without a tie (which was too formal for this video). So I came up with the brilliant idea to cut his buttons off. It worked! But I should have noticed his watch... way not cool.
