The video that started it all. Got me hooked the first time I saw it. Watch it the night before I left for basic, the day I graduated basic loadmaster school at Lackland. Then today, the day I passed my check ride and became a fully qualified C-17 Globemaster III Loadmaster!!!!!.

Just graduated BLM at Lackland AFB yesterday. This video is what actually made me decide to be a A2. I got assigned C-17's out of Charleston AFB with the 437TH Airlift wing.

i just got my call. i leave april 5 for basic training. then off to tech school to become a loadmaster. i got a 94 on my asvab but this is the job ive always wanted... i am so excited to go

I assume you were on a 130? Were you in the C-5 at all? I leave in a month with this job reserved, and I like all the planes I could be on, but the 130 seems like it would be an uncomfortable ride..small and loud. How did you like spending your time on it?

I was going to join the Army to be a mechanic, but after looking at this it seem very interesting and fun.
