Animal I Have Become - Miraz

We all know that Miraz is a villain. But no one is born evil. Even as the events of Prince Caspian unfold, Miraz continues to be haunted by the memories of his brother and the life they had together the good and the bad before Miraz committed the ultimate treachery and killed his king and brother. Miraz knows he has fallen into darkness, but does not believe that anything or anyone can save him.

WARNING: for possibly offensive language, though it is used in the descriptive literal sense, and not really as an explicative, which is why I decided to keep this vid up.

Black and white clips are memories. Clips of Edmund are young Miraz, while Peter is Caspian IX (Mirazs brother and the father of the eponymous Prince Caspian).

This is actually inspired by the Miraz fanfic that I will hopefully write up someday, so if some of the scenes are confusing its because I have that fic in mind.

Wow, that was awesome. I kinda avoided watching this video for awhile, cause I was having doubts as to how you would pull off a whole video about Miraz. My doubts are laid to rest. Even though I know you made this story, I wonder if whenever Miraz saw Edmund, he was thinking of himself. Hehe. This video was awesome-sauce.

I doubted I could make an entire Miraz too, but it helped that I was able to use clips of Peter and Edmund for Caspian IV and Miraz. And if I ever write the fic for this, I will probably have Miraz reminiscing about his life with his brother when he sees Peter and Edmund. I'm glad you liked the vid!

A lot of it I leave to the interpretation of the viewer. In my view, which is what I'd write if I ever get to the fic, is that Miraz dies and comes face to face with his Creator. Then fade to black, because no one is ever told another person's story. =D

Ahhh...I love it....

But wait...I don't get the end. When Miraz dies, does he come back to life because of Aslan because like Aslan knows he's a good person inside or something? Or is he just like as he's dying he's remembering when Aslan saved him? Or is it something else? =3

You got it. The flashbacks are all random - the only "chronological" sequence is when Miraz is being crowned. The rest of it is just random times that Miraz is remembering as an adult, thinking back to when he and his brother loved each other and were friends.

Whoa. That was amazing! But I don't really get it, after Edmund (Miraz) kills Peter (Caspian IX) why does Miraz keep on having flashbacks? Well, I guess I get it. Is he having flashbacks of him and his brother when they loved each other and the good times they had and all?

Glad you liked it! The flashbacks were mostly to show how Miraz and Caspian IX used to be close, but then it fell apart (particularly after Caspian IX becacme king). The recurring Aslan theme just seemed to happen, so I'm glad you liked it (and particularly the end with Miraz being confronted in death by Aslan).

Hopefully I'll be able to write the fic someday. I just need to get over this writer's block...

Whoa... THAT was INTENSE...and I LOVED IT!! Wow! I loved the fact that, though he could see the 'evil' in his brother, King Caspian IX never believed his brother would ever harm him, along with recurring Aslan idea (and the END, gosh...)! *U* Wow!
