Disgusting habit, but admittedly an irresistible record. Tex Williams re-recorded this classic for Boone Records in 1968 and the newer version is actually better. Ironically, Williams died of lung cancer.

You're right about pancreatic cancer. Some of his bios do confirm that. Interestingly enough, at the time of his death, the obit that I read attributed it to lung cancer. Whatever the case, it's ironic.
