Pok (also of Spacegoats fame) sang many songs from the history of the tribe at the Magic Magpie Stage in the Campaigns Field at the first Sunrise Festival in Somerset, England. June 20th 2006. This song, Twyford, is named after the location of some of the earliest road protests in the UK where, following on from the resistance movement which originated from CND and later the Womens' Movement at the Greenham Commons antinuclear protests, a new generation of ecowarrior children began developing tactics of resistance to urban redevelopment during the Claremont Road protests against the destruction of communities because of the widening of London's North Circular motorway - then spread to a movement which protested the destruction of forests and sensitive habitats at locations such as Twyford Downs, which the Donga Tribe was supported by a growing wave of ecowarriors. The CD (and links to other activist websites) is available from the Tribal Voices website at: http://www.tribalvoices.org.uk Further information also from the http://circlecommunity.org website
