An irony just occurred to me. In order to really relax and enjoy Nurse Jackie, I would have to be as high on oxycodone as she is!

I have to agree with you. I watched the show, and despite the abundant cliche, pathetic stereotypes and dim witted writing, there is one actress who really caught my eye. Merritt Wever. Genius. Hopefully she will ride this forgettable series to bigger and better things.

@DClikeDEATH who are YOU to come to the RamZPaul show, without ever watchen his other episodes?

@JonaBay sounds like House

Oh and the reason dr cooper tried acting like this egomaniac was because he had low confidence, and used it at a cover up because he thinks hes a bad doctor, but hes turns out being one of the best doctors. Dr cooper turns out to be a good guy. There really is no bad guys, except maybe nurse jackie herself because she manipulates and uses people; her husband, her boyfried, her best friend, just to feed a drug addition and cover her own ass. Damn I am giving out spoilers everywhere.

Dr cooper started out as this typical good-looking, overconfident, egotistical jerk. But then he changes from that to a guy who was just a weird, socially inept nerdy kid who didnt have any friends in school because of his tourettes and OCD, and he dumped his super attractive girfriend when he developes of puppy-love kidlike crush on nurse jackie. SPOILER ALERT, eh too late. its kinda cute
Anyway the show is okay, it can be kind of ridiculous at times with the scripting. Its about a 6/10.

@mrdumber - is that right, not cliché eh? She sleeps with everyone, cheats on her unsuspecting, complaint and henpecked husband and has the temerity to say 'i want to make you all better'. You’re a fucking joke. Even if that’s not "cliché" it is still fucking trashy and appeals to the lowest common dominator - if nothing else that is why its 'cliché' cause every other tv show just has to be edgy.

Great review! I watched the TV-series "The Mentalist", and there were only white (mostly) men characters who were the killers, not until part ~25 there were a black murderer... although black murderers are maybe mostly in gangs doing drive-by-shootings, which wouldn't suit that TV-show.

You didn't even watch 1 full episode, but you're reviewing it. Fucking unbelievable. The show is actually much less predictable than you're leading people to think. The story moves rapid, and the characters aren't people we're supposed to be like. It's a representation of how people are. This show is perhaps the least cliche' stereotype of it's kind. It's also funny, very different.
On the TV show "Law and Order" which takes place in NYC 95% of all the bad guys are white people. The more heinous the crime that's portrayed, the more classically Caucasian the bad guys are. Like just about all Hollywood movies, except in them they really lay it on thick by making the "evil white people" totally blond-haired and blue-eyed. TV commercials go easy on whites as they merely show them as stupid, bumbling hicks (especially the white males) and every one else as smart, hip and clever
