The boys explain what they are up to. They wanted to be able to each run a train at the same time. Dominic was the idea man for most of it, but he is too shy on camera.

Decordes are "cheap" and if your boys breaks an engine you cantake out the decorder and reuse it, the only problem with that would be the dcc power supply............ some come with a free engine to

I wanted to keep the cost to a minimum because even though they are careful, they are still young kids. So if they break an engine (which they have), I dont feel as bad. Most everything you see is second hand, so it keeps cost down. If I build an N scale when the boys are grown and gone I will do DCC
