@trixapete The problem with Qxe6 is the pin. If black responds with Qe7, the exchange of queens is forced, which is bad for white being down a piece after the knightsac..
-
Well actually then theres Ne6
-
Yes I was thinking the same thing.

Probably better than the game continuation, but after 11...Qe7, Black trades queens and is up a piece for 2 pawns. 11.Ne5 was probably the best try.
-
@TheSaintPain yeah surely Qxe6.
-
Wouldn't 11. Qxe6 put black under alot of pressure? attacking the d6-bishop and threatening mate?
Am I missing something?

I've watched hundreds of KC videos and without a doubt the funniest line ever is at 6:30 when TG is thinking out loud "that looks.....dangerous......sort of.......not much". Just the process of downgrading the move 3 steps with pauses was comic brilliance, intentional or not.

Qxe8 covers g6
-
at move 17 you could have played Bxe8 followd by Ng6 picking up at least the exchange

hahahaha at 5:26 so sneaky B takes A 7 your a genius

I was just looking at the game. What's wrong with Qxf4 after f4? It looks like you win a few pawns after exf4, Rxe7+, Kg8, Rg7+, Kf8, and maybe then just Rf7 and he can't protect both the pawn and his bishop. You may get some initiative too as Rxf4 threatens mate in a few moves as well. Then again, you only had a minute left. Cool sac anyway!
