Couple Reacts to Prop 8 Stay Ruling

Fiancés Tom Rastrelli and Bruce Mayhall, who have been together for three years, were the first to make it to the Beverly Hills Court House in hopes that Judge Vaughn Walker would lift his stay on his ruling overthrowing Prop 8, allowing the couple to get married. Unfortunately, Walker extended his stay a week, giving Prop 8 supporters time to appeal his decision, which could leave same-sex couples in a permanent lurch. Hopefully, they will fail, and next week Tom and Bruce will show up at the court and begin their long and happy marriage.
