  • @bjiengland omg I lived on the Woody before moving the the US in1982! Was born in BIrkenhead,lived with parents & grandmother in St. Anne Street and moved to the Woody aged 4. The memories, it was great growing up there :)

  • these videos are fantastic i can remember the old fire station at the corner of whetstone lane and borough road what a wonderful building, bits of it are left with the pram exchange building, my dad was in the auxilary firbrigade i cant wait for him to see these videos

  • Oak and Eldon Gardens - I was there, it took them two goes to get the job one.

    Film is right about Liverpool Central underground, it WAS dirty, dark, dank and grim. Fabulous.

  • i lived on the nocky in the 70s does anyone have any old photos of the flats on the noctorum estate they got knocked down in 1980 thanks for the memories there great

  • At 2:14 the kid in the bottom right is George Cullan. An old mate of mine. I was there wathing the gardens being demolished.

  • and me in cardigan st....my younger brother fell through the ice and i had to drag him out...the park was our whole life then.....ive heard its just had a 11 million clean up...i hope it lasts forever...i,m in tenerife now and wouldn,t ever go back...the memories are better than todays realities
