Professor John Grenville 1928-2011.
His mother died in a concentration camp; he escaped the Holocaust with his two older brothers. In England worked as a gardener, studying in the evenings. Hard work, determination & his talents led him to eventually become a university professor. An expert on the Holocaust - but, more than this, a remarkable man.

A very moving tribute - very well constructed and one that remains long after the video has finished. Well done.

Stunning, and all the more affecting for its understatement.

The Holocaust amounted to nothing less than the breakdown of civilisation.
