  • Professor John Grenville 1928-2011.

His mother died in a concentration camp; he escaped the Holocaust with his two older brothers. In England worked as a gardener, studying in the evenings. Hard work, determination & his talents led him to eventually become a university professor. An expert on the Holocaust - but, more than this, a remarkable man.

  • A very moving tribute - very well constructed and one that remains long after the video has finished. Well done.

  • Stunning, and all the more affecting for its understatement.

  • The Holocaust amounted to nothing less than the breakdown of civilisation.
