  • I love the part of the music when Myrta first enters. Martine Van Hamel was perfect in this role.

  • @jinpitakki33 I agree it was creepy because it looked like she was floating or something but as the camera got closer that floating illusion went away

  • when she got into the back left corner of the stage, where it was dark and you couldn't really see her feet, she really looked like a ghost

  • the part where the wilis started running out was actually really really scary. this is officially my favourite staging of giselle, even though it was recorded like 16 years before i was born...

  • @dfthompson I think she meant classical in the same way people refer to classical music. It's often used to encompas Romantic, Baroque, etc. It's nice that you can see the difference between Classical and Romantic ballet, though! Not many people know of the differences.

  • the dancer for Martha could do Giselle too i guess

  • @scarpiax This actually isn't Classical Ballet. This is Romantic Ballet, which is much different.

  • Cover her feet on your screen when she enters. Absolutely incredible. She moves just like a ghost.

  • @BaletAll

I think that someone mentioned that it is Martine Van Hamel.

  • Who is Myrtha in this pergorming?Please,reply...

  • Actually, classical ballet is still quite popular, even in the USA.
