Mini Funtional Replicas of the Personality Spheres from Portal 2.
All the major degrees of freedom move like in the game.
Designed, modeled (SolidWorks), painted and assembled by me and made with Eden 350, lancing device springs, paper clips, LEDs, color gels etc,....
Wheatley
Adventure Sphere (Rick)
Space Sphere
"Fact" Sphere
Eden350 (watch?v=wBqr1vawoaU) prints the parts. You still have to design, test, wire, paint, assemble, etc...
I manage the machine we have at my job (ADC). A used eden costs $80,000US, not including material and maitnence. One of the little perks of being an engineer.
Note: The paint around the Space Sphere eye is yellow with a touch of orange (Technically Lemon Yellow with a touch of Saffron Yellow) and the LED is light orange (a touch more yellow than the Omni-tool I made). I guess it just looks more red when I film/photo it.

BTW, I'm not selling nor making more of these for sale. Sorry, I dont have Valve's permission to profit from their IP. If Valve is interested in merchandising one of their successful franchises, I'm more than happy to work with them to turn this and other Valve IP into tangible production products. However, I wouldn't hold my breath...

"look buddy, i'm an engineer. that means i solve problems. not problems like how to create interdimentional portals, because that would fall in the perview of science fiction. i solve practical problems! for instance, how am i gonna create the coolest piece of fanart this side of youtube? the answer? use spheres. and if that don't work, make more spheres. like this lil' space core, designed by me, built by me, and you just wish...i might sell it to you"
