This is a segment from 1993 featuring Dr. Dean Richardon, who everyone might recognize from Barbaro's fight for survival. (He's much younger here!!) This explains all about fractures. It's interesting to see the contrast between 1993..and now.

This would be of interest to Barbaro, Ruffian, Go For Wand, Izvestia, Prairie Bayou, and George Washington fans.

  • @Dayna1401 any human who has a cast for so long need to get strenght in his leg or any other part again, after being hold together by a cast. Hard to believe you don't know that xD Same things with horses. I saw my friend being hurt for 5 months with her leg in a cast and her leg looked all skeleton and she needed help to walk. try to find a wheelchair or something like that for a horse.

  • @Dayna1401 It was the first time in 7 months he had his cast out after an horrible injury, he didn,t have time to began recovery. And you know absolutely nothing about horses cause you can't understand their ''langage'' by their look, the way they move their hears. Neither these horse or barbaro were looking mad, upset, in pain..or anything else. the video of Barbaro was like....1 day or day if I remember correctly, after his cast was off first time in 7 monts.

  • @Elvira237 clearly u havent watched the vid where Barbaro walked did it look to u that the horse could walk normall in time ? i dont ffing think so , now whos stupid to see and understand or look further then what was shown on that vid , that wasnt the right way to walk for a horse not even after that kind of surgery his leg was all messed up !!

done here ty for ur time...

  • @Dayna1401 Ok so you can really run the day afer a surgery you? WOW! You,re amazing! Can I call you God? :D

COME ON, when someone hurt his leg, they're having trouble walking at first, but they can slowly recover. Same thing with animals. That horse at the start was just a horse starting his recovery. And he surely has something against the pain, like humans have too. they wouldn,t let a horse suffer

Of course you're a horse slaughter so you can't understand

  • @Elvira237 ow yea im to stupid to know the horse suffered!

im glad hes at rest now RIP BARBAROOOOO!!!!

  • @Dayna1401 yeah like a human who's hurt, broke his leg for exemple, can happily run couple of days/weeks after the surgery......even humans can be lame for weeks or MONTH with broken bones....but you're too stupid to know that

  • Dr. Richardson is great - on par with dr. Bramlage from Rood and Riddle. Fantastic they can do such things to save the wonderful horses.

  • o wow i never new that and that is a smart idea to put them in water so that they cant heut them slefs
