Utilizing excerpts from the award-winning non-fiction text "A Small Place" by Jamaica Kincaid, Life & Debt is a woven tapestry of sequences focusing on the stories of individual Jamaicans whose strategies for survival and parameters of day-to-day existence are determined by the U.S. and other foreign economic agendas.

  • @muhreuh1 Oh, that was low my man ; ) I love Jamacians. There is nobody that wants Jamacia to succeed than me. Blaming other people for your problems is a sad way to live.

  • @brian8793 yeah i agree Jamaica needs to do a better job managing itself by isolating itself & economy from free trade agreements w/countries such as America & Britian (who exploit them). & about the weed, that's a stereotype in places like USA because famous musicians who made it to fame did that..you cannot judge a whole society from a single face...people think of Obama when they think of America, but he's not what USA represents. Anyways, find out why things are the way they are b4 talking..

  • @marjaan2000 Oh, sorry man. This is a good documentary btw. Hope you find the documentary you are looking for.

  • The problem with Jamaica is the same as any other black Nation or neighborhood. That is, that children are born out of wedlock at an alarming rate.

There have been numerous studies done on the subject. Black children who grow up in a nuclear family have the same percentage of criminals as whites who grow up in a nuclear family.

    SAME EXACT PERCENTAGE.

It's all about the family. FAMILY FIRST!

  • @marjaan2000 That's absurd. Sudan is an independant Nation. There is more to that deal that what you just described.
