  • The FDA approved aspartame, sucralose, etc. all poisons. The FDA has no credibility whatsoever....in bed with big biz food companies and the pharmaceuticals....e.g. Rumsfelt and Searle, etc.

  • It sounds as though Dr. Young recommends a vegetable only diet...no protein and no fruit or grains. How about a little balance? Acids are not necessarily bad. It's the imbalance that's the real problem.

  • Sorry, but my one and only criticism with this entire presentation thus far is Dr. Young's argument against THC (marijuana). I can understand being against smoking weed, as I had to watch my mother die from horrible lung cancer a few years back, while at the same time I was breathing in tons of second-hand smoke every day working in a casino.

    However, I think that there is just way too much research out there proving the benefits of ingesting herb in food or herbal teas for many ailments.

  • ok, thank you!! I am going to buy a waterfilter which alkalizes and ionizes the water, pluss provides antioxidants to the water... I have heard and read a lot of good stuff about this water.... Dr yOung reccomends it, one of the best investments you can make in achieving optimal health :)

  • Oatmeal as all stored grains is acid-forming, but spelt, buckwheat, kamut and quinoa less than others. White bread being the worst, plus of course all bakery stuff filled with sugar. :)

    Here's an excerpt from Dr. Young's pH-Miracle book: "Grains that are stored will usually begin to ferment within ninety days, and in short order are full of mycotoxins. They also harbor harmful microforms." In other words, good stuff. ;)

    As an addition, whatever you eat, avoid GM produced crap. :(

  • Well it releases energy (sugar) slowly so I guessit's better than most cerials, but not if it's cooked with sugars. Good question though, I wonder about cerials ect as well.

  • hello sucker... Sure eating greens will help you loose weight compare to eating ice cream duh... Unfortunately if you do research on "Dr." Young you will see that his credetinals came from a correspondece course (!!) he has been charged with felony (2X) in Utah - he plead it to misdemeanor. None of his work has been published in any medical science journals and all of his supplements DO NOT have the FDA approval (in fact FDA is suing him). eating veggies is sure healthier though
