  • Gary!! Funny about that AL. I'll have a demo soon on it. Yes, P90's are my thing. The AL will be for sale! I need maple/ash! Be well! J

  • Are you on the Heritage Owners Forum? Great place to discuss gear and anything related to Heritage guitars!

  • @jjulch I'll check out the forum, thanks. This 140 was my favorite Heritage.

  • My pickups were pro installed (pretty complicated, I guess), so I don't have the wiring guide. Duncan includes the exact schematic you'll require for 2-push/pulls. I'm now planning on installing some on my dual hum Albert Lee, with a possible middle pickup. I'll post when it's done. Thank you.

  • Makes total sense. I didn't think of it.

  • Couldn't you use the Duncan Triple-Shot mounts to get the series/parallel/tapped sounds without drilling holes in your guitar?

  • @JamieToddBand Hi Jamie, this is Gary from Wisconsin, and I still own the guitar in your video. So you finally broke down and bought an AL!!! Good on ya! I'm surprised you went with the HH configuration instead of the 3xMM90's. If my AL Dargie Delight would have had a trem, you would have loved it :-))))

  • Try flippeing the pick-ups, so that the P90's are facing each other, instead og the rails. That will give you a lot more twang and Tele-like tone, when using the rails. The P90 and humbucker-tones should stay the same.

  • @t0psecretshit

That's a very good idea, that will give you a much more twangy Tele-like tone.

  • OR get some of the SD Triple Shot mounting rings... they're awesome, and don't require push/pull pots or extra holes :P

  • @Hoopermazing If I understand correctly the tripple shot mounts are for only non arched guitars. I have a Michael Kelly patriot limited spalted maple that Im thinking of putting a prail in (only in the bridge) Do you know a way I could do the wiring without adding in switches. The guitar already has push pull pots if that helps so it is possible to do what is shown in this vid but is that the best way?

  • Thanks for this nice presentation.

I'm interested in placing those PU on my PRS Custom 24.

Can you give the shematics of your wiring with the two push-pull combinations ?

    Thanks in advance.
