Islam is basically WWMD. What Would MoHamMad Do. I don't know why we look for moderates or any type of "progressive" muslims when just asking WWMD will give exactly what islam is. In islam an apostate is KILLED. In islam a captive is RAPED. In islam you have 3 choices if you believe in any 1 god; Convert to islam or Agree to be a dhimmi (2nd class citizen with minimal rights if any) or Die. What's so hard about islam?

The problem with radicalism is there is not equally strong grass root movement from Muslims that support enlightenment values that transformed western society. The anti-western, anti-semitic propaganda is so prolific through out the middle east that the region is become more sympathetic to jihad movement every year. That leaves the responsibility to freedom loving Muslims in Europe and America to stand up. Lamentably, Muslims have not heard the call, but remain apologist instead of activist.

Khalifat > ended in 1600s; Osama BLaden's dream is to bring it back, lol.

Arabian region doesn't have enough oil to supply industrial countries. World trade and barter system going to continue even if ordinary Muslim like you think otherwise. All countries are dependent on each other. Not far in the future, there is much cleaner technology coming that would make crude oil redundant.

@erhan2brother < I'm agnostic and having honest discussion with bothers and sisters who may be Muslims or of any other faith. I never said Christianity doesn't have questionable verses.
